For as long as I can remember, I have always loved old things.
I raided my mums wardrobe for the oldest items she had & mixed them with some of my own. When I started to get a collection of vinatge clothes my Nanna sent me a really old suitcase full garments from her time. Some of which are absolute classics.
Charity shops were a favourite place of mine to shop, you can find truly one of pieces and give them a new lease of life which is sustainable & costs next to nothing. Some of my staple items of clothing I have bought years ago in charity shops.
I have collected antique items such as cameras, suitcases, sewing machines etc from when I was around 15. Always with the idea to start collecting items for when I move into my own house. Which is now full of odds & sods and antique furniture.
The music from the 1940's through the years to the 90's are always a love of mine. That deserves a post of its own, so we'll save that for a later date.
Everything comes back in trend but there's something that makes me feel nostalgic when dressing up in old clothes and buying old furniture. Are you an old soul that loves anything vintage?
