As summer is here in full swing I thought I would give one of my favourite summer time cocktails that I created last year called Señorita Blush. It's a super simple citrus recipe, that's perfectly paired with barbecue or tapas food.
You'll need...
Cocktail shaker
Coupe glass (or any glass with a stem)
Jigger measure
Strainer
Ice
Ingredients
Chase pink Grapefruit Gin
1 grapefruit
2 Lemons
Gomme (sugar syrup)
How to make...
Pre squeeze your grapefruit and lemons (separately!)
Gomme- fill a mug with sugar then add boiling water & mix until its all disolved. When its cool pour in a spare glass bottle.
Grab your cocktail shaker and add a few lumps of ice
50ml of grapefruit gin, tip it in
25ml grapefruit juice
25ml lemon juice
10ml gomme
Shake over ice
Pour through strainer into your glass, then add a thin slither of grapefruit.
Voila! Sit back and get sassy with your Señorita Blush.
